What PILF knows about you, and what it does with it.

Short version: an email address when you buy a plant, so you can get a receipt and tell us if something goes wrong. That’s the list.

When you buy a plant

Payment is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your email address and payment details to process the charge and send your receipt. PILF sees your email address, the plant, the shelf it came from and the amount. PILF never sees your card number.

Your email is used to send the receipt, to answer you if you write in, and to sort out a refund or replacement. It is not added to a mailing list unless you ask to be on one, and it is never sold or shared with the venue or anyone else.

When you visit pilf.me

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you. There are no advertising trackers and no third-party cookies. The only cookie the site sets is the one that remembers you have beta access, if you have it.

When you email or text

Messages to hello@pilf.me are kept so the conversation can be picked up later. They are not shared.

Your rights

Ask and PILF will tell you what it holds about you, correct it, or delete it — except the payment records Illinois requires a retailer to keep. Email hello@pilf.me.
